A Town Hall Meeting focusing on a pair of 2024 South Dakota ballot measures will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16 the Veterans of Foreign Wars meeting room at 808 South Broadway in Watertown.
Constitutional Amendment G, known as the Right to Abortion Initiative, and Initiated Measure 28, which would prohibit the state from taxing groceries will be discussed during the meeting.
Watertown attorney Nancy Turbak, a former state lawmaker, will be the presenter on Constitutional Amendment G. Sioux Falls businessman and former S.D. congressional candidate Rick Weiland will be the presenter for Initiated Measure 28.
The public is invited to learn more about these two issues. Coffee and cookies will be served.
