The Watertown Police Department and Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 800 block of 12th Avenue Northwest, just after 1 a.m. on Sunday, June 14.
According to a WPD media release, a 25-year-old male from Watertown was allegedly speeding northbound on Eighth Street NW in a 2011 BMW 535 when the vehicle failed to make a left turn onto 12th Avenue NW.
The BMW left the roadway and struck a 2012 Hyundai Genesis, a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica, and a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R600 motorcycle, as well as a mobile home, and several items of private property.
The driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. He was evaluated by paramedics at the scene and declined further medical treatment. The occupants of the residence were also uninjured.
All vehicles sustained severe damage and are considered total losses. The BMW, Hyundai Genesis, and Chrysler Pacifica were towed from the scene by Active Towing. The Suzuki GSX-R600 was released to the owner.
The mobile home sustained minor damage to the exterior skirting and siding but did not suffer any structural damage. Several miscellaneous property items also sustained damage.
Following an investigation, the driver was suspected of being intoxicated and was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Careless Driving.
