City to begin work on South Lake Drive lift station

The Public Works Department will begin work on the lift station improvement project near 156 South Lake Drive on Tuesday, May 12.

According to a release from the city, the work should be completed by Friday, May 22 pending any unforeseen issues.

There will be one-lane traffic along South Lake Drive near the station during construction, and according to the release, there will be limited access to driveways at times.

“As with any road construction project, motorists should exercise caution and observe all traffic control devices and flaggers in and around the construction areas,” said the release. “Residences will remain accessible most of the time. Motorists are asked not to park on the street in work areas.”
