NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
ON A VARIANCE APPLICATION

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the City of Watertown/Codington County Board of Adjustment on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 12:30 pm to consider in full or in part the following proposed Variance:

• A Variance request Pursuant to Section 3.04.03.2 Area Regulations, Lot Width. The applicants, Vince and Patricia Foley, are requesting a 1056’ variance to the minimum lot width to expand and retain building rights at a nonconforming lot of record. Property is located in the N562’ of E512’ of W1/2 of NW1/4, less Outlot 1 and less E243.5’ of N1/2 of NE1/4 lying North and West of Railroad ROW, in NE1/4 of Section 23-T117N-R52W, Codington County, SD; and E243.5’ of N1/2 of NE1/4 lying North and West of Railroad ROW, in NE1/4 of Section 23-T117N-R52W, Codington County, SD.

All persons interested therein may appear and be heard by the Board of Adjustment at said hearing or may file written comments with the Zoning Officer at 1910 West Kemp Avenue on or before noon, Friday, February 27, 2026.
