NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
ON A VARIANCE APPLICATION

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Codington County Board of Adjustment on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. to consider in full or in part the following proposed Variance Application:

• A Variance request to Chapter 5.20 Erection of More Than One Principal Structure On A Lot. The applicants, Eric and Erika Jacobson, are seeking a variance to temporarily reside in the existing house while constructing a new residence. Property is located on Lot 1, Jorgenson Addition in SW1/4, Section 26-T116N-R53W, Codington County, SD.

All persons interested therein may appear and be heard by the Board of Adjustment at said hearing. All application information, reports, and written comments will be posted at or before 4:30 pm on Friday, June 12, 2026 on the planning and zoning page of the Codington County website at: codington.sdcounty.gov. Written comments may be filed with the Zoning Officer at 1910 West Kemp Avenue on or before noon, Friday, June 12, 2026.
