
Block
A months-long investigation by the Watertown Police Department has resulted in the arrest of four Watertown men on drug charges, including distribution to juveniles.
Officers served a search warrant at a residence in southwest Watertown on November 21, 2025. As a result, Terance Block, 25, of Watertown, and James Chase, 34, of Watertown, were arrested without incident.

Chase
As part of the same investigation, two additional search warrants were served on December 12. Jacob Martinez, 20, of Watertown, and Steven Jackson, 34, of Watertown, were arrested without incident.
Block was charged with Selling Tobacco to a Person Under Age 21; Furnishing Alcoholic Beverages to Persons Ages 18–20; Possession of Marijuana (2 ounces to less than ½ pound); Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana to a Minor; and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana (1 ounce but less than ½ pound). His bond was set at $10,000 cash.

Jackson
Chase was charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug or Substance; Distribution of a Controlled Drug; Possession or Use of Drug Paraphernalia; Maintaining a Place Where Drugs Are Kept, Sold, or Used; Possession of Marijuana (1–10 pounds); Possession with Intent to Distribute One Pound or More of Marijuana; and a Parole Violation. His bond was set at $20,000 cash.
Martinez was charged with Distribution of a Controlled Drug; Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana to a minor; Maintaining a Place Where Drugs Are Kept or Sold; Possession of a Controlled Drug or Substance; Possessing Tobacco by a Minor; and Underage Possession of Alcohol.

Martinez
Jackson was charged with Distribution of Marijuana to a Minor; Industrial Hemp Sale or Distribution; Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer; and Possession of Marijuana (Less Than Two Ounces).
Bond for Jackson and Martinez was set at $10,000 cash.
All four men were booked into the Codington County Detention Center following their arrests. As of December 18, Block and Chase remain in custody.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
