Elizabeth “Beth” Ann Johnson, 59, Hendricks, MN
Elizabeth (Beth) Johnson passed away unexpectedly on December 2nd, 2024, at her residence.
Elizabeth Ann Johnson was born on September 9, 1965, in Worcester, Massachusetts to Robert Alderman and Joyce Mueller. Her family moved to Albany, WI, then to Mondovi, WI before settling in the small town of Arco, MN. During her youth Elizabeth enjoyed playing and swimming with her family and friends at Arco Park where there always seemed to be a good game of “King of the Raft.” The cold MN winters were spent building snow forts, ice skating, sledding, and playing “King of the hill.” See the pattern here? She attended Ivanhoe Public School and graduated in 1983. While there she enjoyed time with friends, attending more than a few keggers, and getting herself into mischief. Her graduating year she also welcomed her twins, Natasha and Jeremy. Not long after she met Brian Johnson Sr. They married in August of 1986. Soon after their marriage they welcomed Jasmine and then Brian Jr. They spent a good amount of time raising their children in Lake Benton before settling in Hendricks. She worked numerous jobs over the years but really enjoyed waitressing and bartending.
Beth enjoyed the beach, tanning, and rock hunting. She also enjoyed races and NASCAR memorabilia. Some of her favorite keepsakes were her unicorn and wizard collectables. She loved animals, especially her cat Loki. She loved playing pool, listening to music, and dancing. Her most enjoyable times were spent with her grandchildren and children.
Grateful for having shared Beth’s life are her four children: Natasha Lawrence (Tim) and Jasmine Johnson (Mike) from Hendricks and Jeremy Alderman (Mindy) and Brian Johnson Jr from Canby; her 11 grandchildren: Braxton, Jadyn, Talon, Korbin, Aaliyah, Kenzie, Jaylin, Dominic, Logan, Kysen, and Kyra: her siblings, Ray Alderman (Pam) and Deb Sanow (Jake) of Marshall and Laura Alderman of Mankato plus numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents and her mother Joyce Mueller and father Robert Alderman.
Her celebration of life will be on January 18th from 1- 5 pm at Gatsby’s Event Center in Hendricks MN.
