60+ Dining: Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Senior Center, 26 First Ave. SW | All individuals aged 60+ are welcome to come to enjoy a nutritious and delicious hot lunch served by 60’s Plus Dining. The cost is $4.50/meal and if you aren’t 60 yet, you are welcome to join, and the meal is $9/meal. If you can’t make it in to eat, you can order Meals on Wheels delivered to your doorstep. Meals on Wheels: Any resident of South Dakota, aged 60 or older, as well as their spouse or care giver is eligible. Home delivered meals are provided Monday-Friday with frozen weekend meals available. To get signed up, call 605-882-2166.

August 29 Ribbon Cutting: Monday, 10:30 a.m., Area Federal Credit Union, 113 1st Ave. NW | Come out and celebrate the Ribbon Cutting for Area Federal Credit Union!! Refreshments will be provided along with tours of the new facility. There will be Tellers and Loan officers at the ribbon cutting to answer any questions you may have.

 

August 29 Cones with Cops: Friday, 6-8 p.m., Feldy’s Ice Cream, 19569 Hwy 81, Arlington | Come join us for Cones with Cops! Enjoy a delicious ice cream cone with the Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office and other surrounding agencies. This is your chance to meet local law enforcement, ask questions, and have a great time with the community.
