Homecoming celebrations for Florence and Henry Schools ended in fine fashion as the Falcons took a 48-18 win over the Wilmot Wolves on Friday, Oct. 3.

Celebrations were held in each school over the course of the week, although the homecoming football game was held at Florence; the game rotates between the two communities each year.
Friday night’s events began with a community pork loin supper at the Florence Community Event. Earlier in the day, parades were held in both communities.
Prior to kickoff, Florence Supt. Mitch Reed “won” a fundraising contest benefitting the cheerleaders. His prize: He got to kiss a goat.
Florence Homecoming King James Kahnke and Queen Roean Raymer were honored during halftime, as were King Dylan Jensen and Queen Alyssa Anderson of Henry.
