Florence School & Florence Town
Notice is hereby given that NO Florence School Board nor Town Trustee Election will be held the 2nd day of June, 2026 in Florence, SD.
The following individuals filed a certificate of nomination in the office of the business manager for the positions to be filled:
Cory Rislov – Florence School board member (3-year term)
Scott Maag – Florence School board member (3-year term)
Because the School Board candidates were unopposed, certificates of election will be issued in the same manner as to a successful candidate after election.
The following individual did NOT file a certificate of nomination with the finance officer for the positions to be filled:
Jeremy DeVille – Florence Town Trustee (3-year term)
No petitions were taken out for the terms on the Town of Florence Board therefore an appointment will be made for those positions.
