The following vacancy will occur on the Florence School District #14-1 Board of Education of Codington County, South Dakota on the second Monday of July 2026.
Two (2) – Three (3) year terms for School Board member, residing anywhere within the district.
Terms of Scott Maag and Cory Rislov
The following office will become vacant on the Florence Town Board due to the expiration of the present term of office of the elective officer on the first Monday of July, 2026.
One (1) Trustee – Three (3) year term
Term of Jeremy DeVille
such vacancies in the joint School District – Town of Florence Election to be held Tuesday, June 2, 2026 between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm must file a nominating petition with the Business Manager of the School District or the Finance Officer of the Town not earlier than February 2, 2026 and not later than March 24, 2026 by 5:00 pm.
Forms for this purpose may be secured from the Business Manager of the School District, Business Office, Florence High School, Florence, SD any school day between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM or by calling the Town Finance Officer at (605)758-8696 not later than March 24, 2026 by 5:00 pm.
