Park and Rec hosting first city Cornhole Tournament

Teams will compete for Watertown Chamber Bucks during the Oct. 5 event at the Maas Ice Arena.


The Watertown Parks and Recreation Department will hold its first-ever Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the George E. Maas Ice Arena in Watertown.

The competition begins at 10 a.m. The registration fee is $50 per two-person team. All contestants must be registered by Tuesday, Oct. 1.

To register online, visit www.watertownparkandrec.com, or fill out a registration form at the Prairie Lakes Wellness Center or at the Park and Rec Fieldhouse.

The top three place-winners will receive Watertown Chamber Bucks. First place gets $150, second place gets $100 and third place gets $80.

The Maas Ice Arena is located at 112 21st St. SW.
