Twins Winter Caravan features one S.D. stop


The Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan stop in Sioux Falls will feature players Louie Varland and Brooks Lee, along with mascot T.C. Bear and broadcaster/former player Glen Perkins.

The 63rd edition of the Twins Winter Caravan is scheduled to make its only stop in South Dakota on Tuesday, January 21, in Sioux Falls.

Each year, Twins players coaches, alumni and broadcasters traveling to communities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota to promote the upcoming season.

The 2025 Twins Winter Caravan features two groups – both featuring two current Twins players, an alumnus and a club broadcaster – traveling to different locales throughout the Upper Midwest. Each day of their respective tours will include a community enrichment activity, along with traditional “Hot Stove” programming (including a question-and-answer, autograph and meet-and-greet sessions)

The Sioux Falls stop will be at 6 p.m. at the Elmen Center at Augustana at 2505 S. Grange Ave. Admission is free, but a ticket is required. Tickets are available at KSOO Radio, 5100 South Tennis Lane in Sioux Falls.

Appearing in Sioux Falls will be radio broadcaster Kris Atteberry, TV broadcaster and former all-star relief pitcher Glen Perkins, infielder Brooks Lee, and pitcher Louie Varland. The ever-popular Twins mascot, T.C. Bear, will also be in attendance.

Other stops for the Twins Caravan include the Minnesota cities of Rochester, St. Cloud, Willmar, Owatonna, Mankato and Welch; La Crosse, Wis., and Fargo, N.D.

Last winter, the Twins Winter Caravan made an impromptu stop at Titan Machinery while en route from Sioux Falls to Fargo, N.D.
