Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce announces Annual Celebration Award nominees

Winners in four categories will be announced during the Chamber's Annual Celebration and Dessert Auction.


Nominees have been announced for the 2024 Annual Celebration Awards given by the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce.

The awards are given to individuals and businesses that have made significant contributions to our community and embody the spirit of leadership, innovation, and service. The winners will be announced during the Chamber’s 109th Annual Celebration and Dessert Auction on October 17 at the Watertown Event Center.

Nominees for the Businessman of the Year are Dustin Flatten of Active Heating, Toby Lindner of Lindner Dock and Lift Services, and Justin Starr of Justin’s Lawn and Tree Service.

Nominees for Businesswoman of the Year are Lisa Converse of Element and Charcuterie Element, Laura Heathcote of the Watertown Area United Way, and Sister Barb Younger of The Village of Harmony Hill.

Nominees for Rookie Business of the Year are Elevate I.V., Les Schwab Tires, and Jungers Farms Butchery.

Spirit of Watertown Award nominees are Julie Kneeland of the Watertown Area Home Builders Association & Glass Products, Jamie Mack of The Goss Opera House, and Sam Mooney of Dakotaland Federal Credit Union.

The Annual Celebration and Dessert Auction begins at 5 p.m. with a social hour at Watertown Event Center. Tickets are available for purchase at watertownsd.com.
