The Watertown School District has received two large donations to help alleviate school lunch debt.
$10,500 was received from Sharp Automotive. An additional $10,000 was received anonymously.
“These donations are a powerful reminder of how deeply our community cares about its children,” said Superintendent Dr. Jeff Danielsen.
A release from the school district read in part, “Access to healthy meals is essential for student well-being and success, and community support plays a vital role in making that possible.”
